PEACHES/LYCHEES: GASTRO PICNIC

We will donate 50 PLN from the sale of each towel to Timur's paw surgery

When Timur arrived at the Paluch Shelter as a young dog, he was a shadow of his former self – everything made him fearful, he didn't know how to walk on a leash, and he would shrink and cower to the ground at almost any human movement. His life changed when sadness was replaced by a cheerful, semi-wild female dog – Telma, with whom they became inseparable practically from their first meeting. That was almost 4 years ago, and they remain together to this day, offering each other comfort and courage, learning from one another, and overcoming their fears together. Thanks to him, Telma became comfortable with human touch and presence; thanks to her, Timur playfully romps around, forgetting about the whole world. Today, they are so in sync that they resemble two matching puzzle pieces; they are like two halves of an apple, like Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, Thelma and Louise, Shrek and Donkey. They are kindred spirits, fantastic, joyful rascals and foodies, full of zeal for mischief and running as fast as their paws can carry them, who can be heart-melting and hilarious at the same time, and whom we don't have the heart to separate.

Timur likely suffered a femur fracture as a puppy, and no one helped him then; the paw healed on its own, and his body adapted to the limp. Today, after in-depth diagnostics and several orthopedic consultations, we know that Timur is in constant pain. He is brave and still joyful despite it, but his paw requires surgery – an open angular osteotomy of the right femur and the implantation of a femoral groove endoprosthesis. There is a chance to fight for Timur's paw and his life without pain, and that is why we want to take this opportunity.

We are looking for a shared home for Telma and Timur in a quiet area. Telma and Timur can walk into apartment buildings and use elevators on their own; they have no trouble moving on various surfaces. We are looking for a family ready to give them time to adapt to new conditions, who will show them heart and understanding.
