PSYCHEDELIC BREATH®
is a guided breathwork session to electronic music, combining the ancient art of Pranayama with modern discoveries in the field of neurobiology. The term “psychedelic” comes from the ancient Greek words psychē (ψυχή, “soul”)
and dēloun (δηλοῦν, “to make visible, reveal”), which translates as “mind-manifesting”. Breath is the language of our soul. Breath connects the body with consciousness.

The prefrontal cortex plays a key role in memory function, planning actions, and organization, and also has an inhibitory effect on spontaneous and intense emotional states. This part of the brain is usually very active during the day.

Its overactivity can lead to excessive analyzing
and thinking, which in turn can lead to self-blame and the growth of our inner critic.

Research shows that breathwork temporarily slows down the prefrontal cortex. According to studies, during a breathwork session, the brain shifts from BETA WAVES, i.e.
normal daytime brain activity, to much slower waves:

ALPHA WAVES
a state of relaxation, ease, and awareness

THETA WAVES
a state of deep relaxation, where we are open and intuitive

GAMMA WAVES
a state of heightened perception and awareness

Satori Session participants often write to us that it was something they really needed in the middle of a busy week. PSYCHEDELIC BREATH®
is a breathwork session that truly has great power.
