PEACHES/LYCHEES: GASTROGIRLS

We will donate 10 PLN from the sale of each pair to Timur's leg surgery

When Timur arrived at the Paluch Shelter as a young dog, he was a shadow of a dog – everything made him fearful, he didn't know how to walk on a leash, and he would press himself to the ground and cower at almost any human movement. His life changed when sadness was replaced by a cheerful, semi-wild female dog – Thelma, with whom they became inseparable practically from their first meeting. That was almost 4 years ago, and they remain together to this day, providing each other with comfort and courage, learning from one another, and overcoming their fears together. Thanks to him, Thelma got used to human touch and presence; thanks to her, Timur playfully romps around, forgetting the whole world. Nowadays, they are so well-matched that they resemble two puzzle pieces that fit together; they are like two halves of an apple, like Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, Thelma and Louise, Shrek and Donkey. They are kindred spirits, fantastic, joyful rascals and foodies, full of zeal for mischief and running as fast as their paws can carry them, who can be heart-melting and hilarious at the same time and whom we don't have the heart to separate.

Timur likely suffered a fractured femur as a puppy, and no one helped him then; the leg healed on its own, and his body adapted to the limp. Today, after in-depth diagnostics and several orthopedic consultations, we know that Timur is in constant pain. He is brave and still joyful despite this, but his leg requires surgery – an open angular osteotomy of the right femur and the implantation of a femoral trochlear endoprosthesis. There is a chance to fight for Timur's leg and his life without pain, which is why we want to take this opportunity.

We are looking for a shared home for Thelma and Timur in a quiet area. Thelma and Timur enter apartment buildings and elevators on their own and have no problem moving on different surfaces. We are looking for a family ready to give them time to adapt to new conditions, who will show them heart and understanding.
